APPARATUS FOR VERIFYING AMPERE S LAW This apparatus consists of two metallic rails where a small
cylindrical bar of aluminium can slide; this bar is immersed
in the field of a permanent magnet. If this aluminium bar is
crossed by some current output by the generator, the bar will
undergo a force whose direction is assigned by the left hand
rule.
Length of rails: approximately 50 cm.
