The Sand Cone Density Apparatus determines the inâ€place density of soils. Unit consists of a one gallon threaded plastic jar and a 6 1/2" detachable cone. Cone consists of a brass cylindrical valve with a 1/2" diameter orifice with builtâ€in stops to prevent rotation past completely open or completely closed positions.
