The
CTA-33 is a working cut section model designed to enable students to
study different components of a Automotive Gear Box & demonstrate
its working. The setup uses an actual automobile sliding mesh gear box
used in commercial vehicles, sectioned at suitable locations to display
internal meshing gears. In order to visualize operation of the gear box
& shifting of gears, a handle is provided to rotate the gear box
from input shaft. Optionally an electric motor can be provided to run
the gear box.
