Full Mission Ship Handling/Navigation Simulator (Bridge Simulator).
Full Mission Ship Simulator should consist of the following:
•    One (1) Instructor Station consisting of:
-    Navigational Instructor SW (Main and additional Instructor)
-    Selective Visualization (5 channels for Main and 3 for Additional Instructor)
-    Selective Radar
-    CCTV Monitors for Main and Additional Instructor
-    TGS Instructor (GMDSS training) including handset
•    One (1) Full Mission Ship Simulator (FMSS), Own ship Station (with capability to expand)
•    Computer/Processing hardware
•    Data Communications Network/Bus
•    Ten (10) Exercise area databases (Visual, Radar and ECDIS databases), including optional development of areas for local Georgian ports
•    Ten (10) Own ship models
•    One hundred and fifty (150) Traffic Ship Models
•    Visual Display and Projection Equipment
•    Sound Effects Equipment
•    Network/Server Equipment
•    Power distribution and control equipment
Additionally, the FMSS should have facility to be:
•    Connected with GMDSS Simulator (Proposed)
•    Connected with Marine Engine Simulators (Proposed)
The FMSS systems Navi-Trainer Professional 5000, should meet and exceed the requirements of STCW 95 convention and code, as applicable. It should be suitable for a whole range of training, including:
•    Passage planning
•    Collision avoidance
•    Ship handling in confined waters
•    Coastal and offshore navigation
•    High speed navigation
•    Parallel indexing
•    Operational use of electronic charts
•    High speed craft (HSC) operations, (35-60+ knots)
•    Bridge Team Management
•    Steering training
•    Proper watch keeping and reporting procedure
•    The practice of good seamanship
•    Bridge procedures
•    Principles, uses and limitations of pieces of bridge equipment
•    Situational awareness
•    Abnormal and emergency situations
•    Inter ship Communications
•    Proper use of AIS
•    Operational use of Shipboard Security Alert Systems (SSAS)
•    Automatic Radar Plotting Aids Training
•    Radar Training
FMSS system should meet all applicable performance standard adopted by the IMO, including:
•    Simulation of the operation of VHF, VHF-DSC, NAVTEX, EPIRB and watch receiver equipment as required for the Restricted Operator’s Certificate.
•    Simulation of the operation of INMARSAT-A, -B, and -C ship earth stations, MF/HF NBDP, MF/HF DSC, VHF, VHF-DSC, NAVTEX, EPIRB and watch receiver equipment as required for the General Operator’s Certificate
•    Training and certification of seafarers to General Operator Certificate (GOC) or Restricted Operator Certificate (ROS) level
•    Training and examination of seafarers to Second-Class Radio Electronic Certificate
•    Provide Voice communication with background noise
•    Provide a printed text communication facility
•    Simulator fully complies with IMO Resolution A.703 (17) and latest STCW code requirements
•    Create a real-time operating environment, consisting of an integrated system, incorporating at least one instructor/assessor station and at least two GMDSS ship or shore stations.
