It is made of all brass. Reading are taken scale and vernier. The
vernier is mounted on a slide which is adjustable to read upto 0.1 mm.
For coarse adjustment a screw Is provided at the back of the slide and
the line motion travels about 20 mm. In one traverse by a screw knob
provided at the top of the outfit.
