Description
a) Hysteresis Curve Apparatus :-
Comprising a graduated wooden base 100 cms. Long with a groove for
fixing the components a solenoide wound with heavy gauge wire,
Neutralising Coil and a reflecting V.B. Magnetometer along with lamp
& scale arrangement.
b) Study of magnetic field produced by a current carrying Solenoid using
a search coil and finding the value of’ permeability of Air :
Comprising Solenoid wound on pipe 12” long 60 mm bore with 3 layers of
thick DCC wire 3 Amp current capacity. All mounted on wooden board with
Brackets for holding pipe. No. of turns marked against terminals
connected to winding Search coil consisting of 2000-3000 turns on wooden
reel of fine enamel copper with handle for adjusting within the
Solenoid Two Nos AC meters for Current and induced volt measurement
Transformer 25V/2-3 Amp. Mounted on wooden board with main leads.
