The potential measurement probe and the electric
field meter can be used to study the equipotential lines around a
charged sphere. When held in the radial clamp fixture, the probe can be
conveniently swivelled into position along circles around the centre of
the sphere. This shows that each of these circles represents an
equipotential line.
