WIND POWER GENERATOR
The suggested equipment includes an aerogenerator with
horizontal axis and peak power of about 400 W; the support has
a nacelle on its top which contains the slow transmission shaft, the
revolution multiplier, the fast transmission shaft, the electrical
generator and the auxiliary devices. The nacelle can rotate in
respect to the support in order to keep the machine axis always
parallel to the wind direction, “horizontal aerogenerator”. The
system is started only when the speed reaches the minimum
threshold of insertion (about 3 m/s). An inverter connected to a
load controller and an accumulation battery enables to evaluate
the energy transport and storage devices. The telemeasurement
and telecontrol system on the control and supervision panel,
connected to a PC, favours the monitoring of the main electrical
operation parameters: voltage, current, power factor, frequency
and consumption. Besides, it enables to control two programmable
outputs for the system control, and a unit for the conversion to
