Kit for demonstration of the lines of magnetic field.
VERTICAL WIRE
It enables to display the magnetic field around a vertical wire
with diameter of 1.5 mm. Maximum current of 8 A.
LONG SOLENOID
For studying the magnetic field due to a solenoid.
Solenoid: 51 x 92 mm (diam. x length), of copper wire with
diameter of 1.5 mm.
VERTICAL TURNS
With only one loop and with 5 loops, for studying the magnetic
field due to a vertical turn. The maximum current is equal to 8
A, for single-loop turn, and to 5 A, for 5-loop turns. Turns are of
copper wire with diameter of 1.5 mm and they have a diameter
of 62 mm.
OERSTED’S LAW APPARATUS
Apparatus used to show the action of electric current on a
magnet. It consists of a needle of cobalt steel 75mm-long, with
agate bearing supported by a pin mounted on a plastic base
and surrounded by a rectangular framework of 13 x 5 cm, with
terminal jacks.
