Marcet Boiler Description and Specifications for Lab Tenders
Marcet Boiler.
Marcet Boiler
The Marcet Boiler unit is designed to demonstrate the relationship
between the pressure and temperature of water during steam generation.
Temperatures of up to 200°C are possible for recording the vapour
pressure curve. The temperature and pressure can be continuously
monitored via a digital temperature indicator and a Bourdon tube
pressure gauge. A temperature controller and pressure relief valve are
fitted as safety devices and protect the system against overpressure.
Experimental Capabilities:
Measurement of Temperature & Pressure
To study relationship between Pressure & Temperaure of steam
To record vapor pressure curve for water
Specifications:
Bourdon tube pressure gauge: 0-15 bar
Temperature Controller: 0-200°C
Safety valve: 10 bar
Heater: 2kW
Boiler, stainless steel: 2L
